1. For use in cosmetics, body care products, and other daily chemicals, the concentration of using is in the range of 0.05-0.40 percent (w/w) depending on the storage environment and whether the product is susceptible to the destroy of microorganisms. The specific formula and instructions for the concentration of using will be based on the company microbial technology division
2. It can be added at any production step but its suggested to be added at the final step at less than 50 degree avoid adding at a temperature of higher than 50 degree.
3. Wear protective clothing, rubber gloves and goggles and masks, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. 

Product Dose:

1. Good biocide to kill many bacteria, fungi and yeasts; the liquid with a lowest concentration of 0.1% will have a good antibacterial effect;
2. Good compatibility with all kinds of emulsifiers, surfactants and other agents; miscible in the solutions of alcohol and water at any ratio.
3. Wider applications that like products; suitable for use in the medium of the pH value in the range of 4.0-12.
4. Excellent inactivity, with the active ingredient able to withstand a high temperature of 150 degree.
5. Low toxicity; contain no heavy metals and halogen compounds inactive to amines free of formaldehyde.

Isothiazolinone Biocide is high performance, broad spectrum, antimicrobial agents based on the proven isothiazolone chemistry. Isothiazolinone Biocide 14% is excellent Isothiazolinone biocide and Oilfield Bactericide. They are effective at very low concentrations in controlling both the planktonic and surface growth of bacteria, fungi and algae and have been produced specifically for water treatment and paper mill applications. The bactericidal effect of Isothiazolinones Biocide Cooling Water Treatment is carried out through breaking the bond between bacteria and algae protein. When contacted with microbes,Isothiazolinone can quickly inhibit their growth, thus leading to death of these microbes.Isothiazolinones has strong inhibition and biocidal effects on ordinary bacteria, fungi and alga, and has many advantages such as high biocidal efficiency, good degradation, noresidual, safety in operation, good compatibleness, good stabilization, low cost in operation.

Application  :

Isothiazolinone as chemical biocide algaecide is ideally suited to meet the requirements of an industrial water treatment biocide and excellent Isothiazolinone biocide. Isothiazolinone 14% microbicide is not deactivated by suspended organic matter, and is compatible with other water treatment additives, including chlorine. With the recent change of many cooling towers and paper mills to alkaline operating conditions, it is important to use a biocide such as Isothiazolinone 14% which remains stable at higher pH values. Isothiazolinone 14% is of low toxicity at use levels, easily deactivated and biodegradable.

Dose :

When used as sludge stripper for grade II, the dosage of 150-300mg/L is preferred, when used as boicide, the dosage of 80-100mg/L is preferred, and charges every 3-7 days. No used together with oxidative fungicidal such as chlorine, and no used in cooling water system containing sulfur. When used together with quaternary amine, the effect will be better. When used as industrial fungicide, the dosage of 0.05-0.4% is preferred.
