Solvent Naphtha 200 is high boiling aromatic solvents with very low naphthalene content typically below 2% and 1% respectively. Solvent Naphtha 200 (also known as solvent C12) is a transparent, light yellow liquid that has heavy aromatic grades and is produced by the distillation of the aromatic streams of petroleum products.
Solvent Naphtha 200 is a mixture of C12-C14 hydrocarbons having C12 in predominant proportion. Heavy Aromatic Solvent 200 has high solvency, high boiling point, and slow evaporation rate. It is highly flammable and environmentally hazardous.
Solvent Naphtha 200 is used in products like Oil Field Chemicals, Agrochemicals, Fuel Additives, Specialty chemicals, High Build Surface Coatings etc. Solvent Naphtha 200 can be used as an industrial chemical because of low air pollutants presence and high flash point. Solvent C12 is used in manufacturing oil field chemicals, emulsifiers, fuel additives, printing inks, water treatment chemicals, process oils, foundry chemicals, corrosion inhibitors, wash oil, surfactants, lubricants, coatings, and solvent dyes.
